An existing bedroom is converted into a flexible home office and guest room, while a revised primary suite introduces a walk-in closet and updated bathroom without disrupting the original proportions of the house. New service spaces—including a mudroom and laundry room—provide essential, out-of-sight work areas that support everyday routines. A screened porch, accessed through the scullery off the kitchen, extends the house into the landscape. The screened porch provides a place for processing vegetables from the garden. Throughout the renovation, new cased openings are carefully introduced into existing walls, allowing spaces to flow together without fully removing partitions.
